I googled, read about it, read the reviews, the contradictory and conflicting messages on the internet.
Did you come across the long list of conditions Bowen Therapy helps to relieve? I did and at that time, I found the list incredulously long.
Do you think Bowen Therapists are the ones generating this? I do not. I compile my list from feedback and observation according to recipients of Bowen Therapy under my hands and care. They are the ones who log and then share what they experience. Many a time, some step in with pain A and found relief for for pain B which was not even mentioned during the consultation.
What happens when you reach out to me? When you contact me, let me know what issues you need help or relive from. I will explain what we do and how we can proceed. I generally recommend a 3-6 sessions for you to have enough time and observe to feel the difference in your condition. Pacing between the sessions depend on individual, some may be weekly, others fortnightly and further out to monthly.
For the session – It helps to be aware and listen to your body and to observe. Keep an open mind.
What happens then? We work together to review how your body is progressing and support your recovery process. It may require you to unlearn some old habits and form new habits. It may be to adjust how you sit or walk. Or it may have to do with increasing water intake.
